"Heavy Bob Mould / Sugar vibes... sounds both old-school and modern at the same time, and certainly fits the college radio format."
— Domenic Paolo, 91.3 FM WUNH

"A throwback rock appeal, parts R.E.M. and Matthew Sweet... stellar overall production and no-frills charm."
— Obscure Sound

"A fantastic little burst of power pop energy: loud, catchy, relatable, and smart enough to avoid feeling disposable."
— Troca Fitas

"Evokes the best moments of '90s alternative rock while staying true to [their] modern signature moves. The nostalgia factor is high, but the fresh production keeps it feeling completely current."
— Thoughts Words Action

"There is a slacker quality to Classic Cover Up, so much so that it had me pining for that time when things were simpler and music was everything."
— mp3hugger

"90s-inspired alt-rock with roaring guitars, emotive vocals, and shout-along chorus."
— Pigeon Opinion
